I have a confession to make. I have eight, yes “8” wreaths. Now they are for different occasions during the year, so it’s not really that bad. But, I had several wreaths stored under my bed, under my son’s bed, in the upper part of my closet, and some in the garage. Not very efficient. But I love wreaths – it’s become an unhealthy obsession. I finally came up with a storage solution for my obsession – and isn’t that really the most important thing? 🙂 I think if you can find a place to store your things efficiently then it’s not so bad. Am I right?
One year, I was in such a state of confusion that I brought in the Christmas decorations before I took down all my Autumn décor and ended up putting all of the fall stuff into the empty Christmas decoration boxes. Then when I took Christmas stuff down, it all went on top of the Autumn stuff. Needless to say, it was a mess. The next year when Autumn came around, I had totally forgotten where I had put all my wreaths and décor. So now, I try to stay organized and have everything labelled. You know the old adage, “a place for everything, and everything in its place”. Who knew that was a real gem of wisdom!
Now that I have more than just a few wreaths, I really needed a new way to organize them. *really needed*
Hang your Wreaths
Yes, I said hang them! Not on the wall, although they would be lovely there! Put them in bags, then on a hanger and hang them on a rod in a closet or in the garage. If you are short on spare closet room, then a rolling rack works great! Label the outside of the bags and you are good to go. It keeps all your wreaths at your fingertips for whenever you want to switch them out and it keeps them clean and tidy. Oh how I love it when things are organized, or at least I love it when I can actually find the things that I’m looking for!
